Don't you love when you rediscover an item of clothing? I forgot I owned this blouse until I happened to see it sticking out of a drawer this morning. And its been so long since I've worn it that it feels like I'm wearing something new.


I should start hiding things from myself to find in the future. I may never need to shop again.

I find it hard sometimes to get dressed for work because my style, by definition, is generally not work appropriate. So how do you still dress like yourself and not get busted by the office fashion police?

The thermostat today hit about, oh, I don't know... a million degrees.

 My best advice? ... I have no idea I just tried not to look like a total sweaty mess.

..and then I melted into a puddle on the floor.

I flipped back through some of my pics and realized that I wear the midi pencil skirt a lot. As in, basically every day this week, a lot. And I don't care.

Easy. Comfortable. Flattering.

Fancy?

Can be. Or not so much. And that's why they're awesome.

september state of mind

It's mid July but I decided to wear a vinyl skirt anyway. Funny thing, the weather was oddly cool(ish) this morning. Like Mother Nature decided to cut me a little break while I dipped a toe in fall fashion because I just can't wait anymore for the seasons to change.
