Sometimes its OK to keep it simple. Every outfit doesn't have to be a big deal. In fact, simple can be very chic. Personally, when in doubt, I go with black.

I heard it was maybe supposed to rain today. I hate wearing sandals in the rain so I chose combat boots and no, I don't care that its summer.

Today's look may have been a little on the granny side. Its a funny thing how the silhouette of a jacket or shape of your glasses can take your outfit one way or another.

Don't know what got into me today. My outfit was pretty ambitious (pencil skirt and sky-high platforms) for a Monday and even stranger, it was pretty matchy. It was just the mood I was in..

I got dressed in a hurry today. My Mr. didn't want to be late to go watch "the game" so I defaulted to some old favorite pieces that work in a pinch.

heat wave

The temperature today hit 90 degrees and it was humid as hell. Still didn't stop me from layering up a bit. I just couldn't help myself. Today it was a henley over a dress.. plus heels, shades and all the usual hardware.
